The story behind tennis scoring 🎾

As my annual dose of Wimbledon comes to an end (loved it this year!) I found myself thinking about the smartness of the tennis scoring system, while I was musing my other half happened to come across this piece that explains the scoring and the words used. It is linked to our “ancient Sumerian ancestors and their brilliant, versatile sexagesimal system, which often crops up in unexpected places.” Fascinating.

I thought this animation accurately depicts what GOOD therapists do (not the ones on TV that blurt out answers and random thoughts or judgments).
